                                    OGUZ HAN ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGIES UNIVERSITY OF TURKMENISTAN

announces admission to the number of students for the 2022/2023 academic year under the bachelor's program for the following areas of study:

1. Mathematics and mechanics (field of study: applied mathematics and computer science (mathematics for engineers)).
2. Biological sciences (field of study: cellular and molecular biology; genetics and bioengineering; microbiology).

3. Chemical Technology (field of study: chemical technology; chemical engineering).

4. Industrial ecology and biotechnology (field of study: biotechnology).

5. Materials Technology (field of study: Materials Science and New Materials Technology).

6. Nanotechnologies and nanomaterials (field of study: nanomaterials).

7. Geography (field of study: ecology and environmental management; cartography and geoinformatics).

8. Informatics and Computing Techniques (field of study: Informatics and Computing Techniques; Information Systems  and technologies; digital infrastructure and cybersecurity; mobile and network engineering; animation and graphic design; artificial intelligence and expert systems; data protection technology; technologies of the digital economy).

9. Mechanical Engineering (field of study: automation and control; mechatronics and robotics).

10. Electronics, radio engineering and communication systems (field of study: electronics and nanoelectronics).

11. Photonics, equipment, optical and biotechnical systems and
    technologies (field of study: biomedical electronics).

12. Economics and Management (field of study: Human Resources Management; Innovative Economics; Technology business; innovative management and international business).

13. Physical and technical sciences and technologies (field of study: physics of modern technologies).

14. Study of linguistics and literature (field of study: philology (technical English and Japanese)); computer linguistics).

Education at the university is conducted in English and Japanese.

Education at the university is carried out on a fee basis.

The duration of study is 5 years (1 year - language learning of English and Japanese, 4 years - bachelor's degree program).

The university accepts citizens of Turkmenistan not older than 35 years old, with an education not lower than general secondary, based on the results of entrance exams on a competitive basis.

Documents are accepted in the velayat centers and Ashgabat from July 11 to July 24, 2022.

- an application addressed to the rector in the prescribed form;

- a questionnaire in the prescribed form;

- education certificate (original);

- medical certificate according to the form established by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan;

- a characteristic from the last place of study (work, military unit);

- eight photographs 3x4 cm in size;

- a certified copy of the employment record for employees;

- winners of the State Olympiad for schoolchildren, members of the national teams of Turkmenistan participating in international Olympiads in academic subjects, should submit the original of the relevant documents confirming these grounds.

In addition, applicants along with the above documents present and submit to the selection committee copies of the following documents:

- the passport;

- a military ID or registration certificate and a certificate from the military commissariat at the place of residence.

The applicant may provide other documents that confirm his out-of-competition and (or) preferential right when enrolling in the number of students.

For incorrectly provided information and unreliable documents, the applicant is personally responsible.

Entrance examinations and enrollment are carried out at the university (Ashgabat) and in velayat centers in the following terms:

Akhal velayat - July 27-28, July 29 and July 30;

Ashgabat - August 1-2, August 3 and August 4;

Balkan velayat - August 6, August 7 and August 8;

Dashoguz velayat - August 10, August 11 and August 12;

Lebap velayat - August 14, August 15 and August 16;

Mary velayat - August 18-19, August 20 and August 21.

Entrance examinations are held in the following subjects:

field of study:  cell and molecular biology; genetics and bioengineering; microbiology; biotechnology; ecology and environmental management - biology, mathematics, the history of Turkmenistan;

field of study:  physics of modern technologies; automation and control; mechatronics and robotics; electronics and nanoelectronics; technologies of the digital economy; data protection technology - physics, mathematics, the history of Turkmenistan;

field of study:  applied mathematics and computer science (mathematics for engineers); informatics and computer techniques; information systems and technologies; digital infrastructure and cybersecurity; mobile and network engineering; animation and graphic design; artificial intelligence and expert systems; cartography and geoinformatics; innovative economics; Technology business; Human Resources Management; innovative management and international business - mathematics, physics, the history of Turkmenistan;

field of study: biomedical electronics - physics, biology, the history of Turkmenistan.

fields of study: philology (technical English and Japanese); computer linguistics - English, physics, the history of Turkmenistan.

Entrance examinations in academic subjects are held on the basis of curricula for secondary schools in Turkmenistan.

Entrance examinations in academic subjects are held orally in the state language, except for language subjects, which are held in the corresponding language.

Persons who did not appear without valid reason for the exam at the scheduled time or did not pass the exam in one of the subjects are not allowed to the subsequent exams.

Out of competition and the priority right when enrolling in the number of students, subject to successful completion of the entrance exams, are used by applicants in accordance with the provisions established by the Law of Turkmenistan "On Education" (new edition).

The university accepts citizens of Turkmenistan with an education of at least higher education, based on the results of an entrance interview on a competitive basis.

Training is provided on a fee basis.

Documents are accepted in the velayat centers and Ashgabat from July 11 to July 24, 2022.

List of documents:

- an application addressed to the rector in the prescribed form;

- a questionnaire in the prescribed form;

- originals or certified copies of the document on higher education and its annex (a certificate of recognition in Turkmenistan is attached to a document on higher education issued in a foreign country);

- medical certificate in the form established by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan;

- a characteristic from the last place of study (work, military unit);

- eight photographs sized 3x4 cm;

- a certified copy of the work book for employees.

In addition, applicants along with the above documents present and submit to the selection committee copies of the following documents:

- the passport;

- a military ID or registration certificate and a certificate from the military commissariat at the place of residence.

If necessary, the university admissions committee may request additional information from the applicant.

For incorrectly provided information and unreliable documents, the applicant is personally responsible.

Interviews and enrollment are carried out at the university (Ashgabat) and in velayat centers in the following terms:

Akhal velayat - July 29 and July 30;

Ashgabat - August 3 and August 4;

Balkan velayat - August 7 and August 8;

Dashoguz velayat - August 11 and August 12;

Lebap velayat - August 15 and August 16;

Mary velayat - August 20 and August 21.

Interviews are held in English and the state languages on the subject of higher education curricula in English, mathematics.

Persons, who do not appear without valid reason at the appointed time, there is no additional opportunity to pass it.

Preferential right when enrolling in the number of students in the master's program based on the results of the introductory interview is used by persons with work experience in the chosen field of study for at least 2 years.
